Radio Ecclesia is a catholic radio station in Luanda, Angola.
WorldCom has been involved in supporting Radio Ecclesia for almost 10 years now.

Although it is a catholic radio, we consider it one of the most important 'independent' media in a country where there is little room for civil society initiatives which are not linked directly to the MPLA government.

In the early years of this century WorldCom was providing technical support to the radio and helped Radio Ecclesia to develop their technical skills.

In recent years our support to the radio was more directed to helping them to further develop their Internet platform:

• we helped them develop their website (which we are also hosting)
• we trained them to administer and maintain their themselves.
• we provide them with the platform to stream their audio to the Internet.
